Architectural competetion - The city revitalization of Plana nad Luznici, South Bohemia, 2014, CZ - 1.st place - we prepare realization for 2014-2018 | Atelier Vltava Ltd.

After building up a new piece of the motorway D3 from Prague, Czech republic to Linz, Austria, city council of Plana nad Luznici has decided to change the public space of the centre in Plana nad Luznici.

The former capacity of the transport trough the main square and sourroundings decreased rapidly. This change caused possible change of the widness and capacity of the road that goes trough the city centre.

Lower transport trough the city centre of Plana nad Luznici caused possible change of public space. City council proposed the competetion aim to conect contemporary city functions with better city public space solutions.

In our propsal, we tried to image all the possible scenarios of future fuctions of the city inhabitans needs. We have created meeting points for locals and turists, clear and readable structure, improvement of 6 basic public areas that are closely conected to main functions on the main square and near river side of Luznice: school, church, church house, high block of flats, market place, kindergarden with the pond area.

We hope this project is comming into realization during 2015 - 2018 in phases. We were asked by city major of Plana nad Luznici to prepare tender proposal for to create developed design, technical design and construcion till 09/2014.
