This project is a studio project in order to get a building permission. Sited in the surroundings of Prague and close to the country side, the investor wants to be allowed to renovate the existing family house according to the regulations.
Trying to keep the budget, the proposal redisigns the inner distribution and exterior facades while preserving the disposition on the plot and the existing structure. The new house includes two new volumes with a different look. While keeping the main volume in neutral colors and materials (white plaster), the smaller volumes are made of traditional materials that dialogue with the simple ones.
