FÓRUM 2000 invates to the discussion Changing Perception of Public Space: Between Opportunity and Responsibility, Prague, 10/2014, CZ

We would like to invite you to the panel discussion of the 18. anniversary of Forum 2000 You can look forward to the panelists the Managing Director of the Prague Institute of Planning and Development Tomáš Ctibor, architect Adam Gebrian, artist Krištof Kintera and activist and photographer Illah van Oijen. The debate will be chaired by the President of the Aspen Institute Prague Michael Žantovský. Since the fall of Communism in Central and Eastern Europe, perception of public space has undergone a dramatic change. The arrival of democracy and capitalism has posed new questions on the responsibility and ownership of public space. It has also brought a challenge: how to accommodate the diverging needs of various users of public space?
