Revitalization and reconstruction of the square of Edvard Beneše in Kladno, 1st place, 2015-2018, CZ

The project is still in concept stage progress at the moment. The public presentation will on the 2nd February 2016 from 6:30 pm.

The project is being prepared under study and not yet completed. The public presentation will be held in Kladno 02/02/2016 18:30. Space presentation will be further refined.


Autor`s note

Urbanism
Edvard Benes Square in the heart of the Statutory City logs. It is surrounded by older original compact block development, which is relatively disparate. In close proximity are the objects of public facilities with different needs parking.
Square currently used as a car park without the use of the different areas. In the city center there is an older linden alley, which is needed to support and complement. The goal
the construction project is to promote the tourist office square, while maintaining
a sufficient number of parking spaces, adding vegetation, furniture and possibly
art objects. The situation is complicated by passing steam pipeline and its safety zone.
The basic requirement is to maintain calm traffic (parking), which will be sufficient capacity to meet the needs of the area and local public vybavennost including secondary schools and courthouses District Court.

Architecture and transport solutions
Navrujeme architectural solution based on existing roads narrowing to a minimum. We propose solutions and Edvard Beneš Square, which is a newly designed more people and fewer passenger and freight automobile transport. We suggest adequate transportation calm, bike path and a one-way street at the site of the original street bidirectionally.
Importantly these steps not only to calm traffic to a minimum, but also enhance the breadth of public space near the court. Extension for citizens and visitors in the parterre create a place for people to meet.
The situation includes a requirement to keep the current bus parking for the court to potentially dangerous persons and their transportation. Recommendations to supplement alley street building on the street Bath and other solitary trees in the square,
We propose further the overall cooling of the space in the adjacent streets of Jan Palach, Saskova, bath, Amálská and Zd.Petříka.

n place of the square, which grips the courthouse, school and the adjacent apartment buildings we are trying to create a plaza area with seating and meeting space. At the meeting place, we try to highlight the appropriate sculptural object in collaboration with sculptor M.Jáchymovou. In an accompanying graphic annex we are trying to find suitable motifs and volumes in the newly created space.
Suitable connecting bike trails on urban cyklogenerel is important for recreation near school pupils and other visitors also meets the requirement for placement

The current capacity of parking spaces in the proposed shortened dream, on the contrary, must be increased by using a confirmation passable road in northeastern front of houses near the building of the Police. Documentation and its purpose - STS, major, DSP, DPS
The documentation is processed in the content and scope of the one-step documentation

simultaneously processed in the scope and content of the documentation for the execution of the project.
The documentation will be treated as a single unit, and will be divided according to requirements
ordering the object SO.01 - SO.03. The documentation will be processed in accordance with
Decree no. 499/2006 Coll. 146 / 2008Sb., On construction documentation and documentation of transport structures, as amended.

The basic territorial division of the study and subsequent implementation
The studied area is divided into three independent functional units for future implementation. The delivery contractor is a geodetic survey of the area as necessary
scope for design objects SO.01-SO.03.

Material design and city furniture
Material handling is clear and apparent from the accompanying graphic part. Landscape and park architecture

Highlighted are powerful objects of public facilities and supported by their symmetry / asymmetry or other significant tectonic feature within the chosen area.
Individual trees are in the parterre supplemented by perennial beds that complement the maximum enlarged public space around the district court nearby high schools and individual residential houses.
